Holy shit! I haven't been worth watching in a movie since Seven!

The guys that brought us the dude that abides and the dude that kills mother fuckers are back at it again with this fall’s sure-to-be-hit, Burn After Reading.  Sometimes I think the Coen brothers are the only reason I keep watching movies.  Sure No Country for Old Men had a shitty ending, but the film was genius.  The Big Lebowski is a classic comedy with some of the most memorable lines in Hollywood history.  Knowing their track record, it’s quite easy to see why I’m really looking forward to Burn After Reading.  Hell, even Brad Pitt and George Clooney can’t fuck this up.

The film is about the discovery of a CIA agent’s memoirs on a CD by some dudes that work at a gym.  They try to blackmail the dude and shit hits the fan from there.  Burn After Reading opens on September 12th.  Check out the red band trailer for the film below:

According to Cinematical.com, Anne Hathaway is starring in a new horror film called Passengers in which she will play a counselor who works with a group of plane crash survivors.  One of the survivors apparently has some kind of powers since the crash that can’t be explained.  Sounds like a lot like one of my favorite shows, Lost.  I’ve posted a youtube version of the trailer but I’m not sure when the film will arrive.  The website at the end of the trailer is now only pointing to Sony’s main site.  Oh, and in case you were wondering, the lovely Anne Hathaway will probably not be naked in this because it’s rated PG-13, however, if you have some kind of psycho obsession you can see just about all of her nude in Havoc, but that is the only reason you should ever see that film.

Holy fuck real anime hair looks retarded!

UPDATE 10/03/2008 – Full teaser trailer now online below

It’s not like you needed another reason to stay away from the film adaptation of the video game Max Payne other than the simple fact that its a film adaptation of Max Payne.  Just in case you did, however, CinemaBlend reports that the first trailer for the live action Dragonball movie will run in front of the film.  I could go into detail about what the Dragonball movie is all about but all you really need to know is that the movie is a live action version of an anime cartoon.

My question is to the producers of Max Payne: Do you guys just totally not give a shit about the movie?  I mean it was painfully obvious that you didn’t when you cast Mark “Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch” Wahlberg as the title character, but really, to premiere the Dragonball trailer in front of it is kind of like getting a kick to the nuts by Trunks isn’t it?

10/03/2008- I personally can’t stand the idea of this but for some insane reason, most people who find this blog find it through searching for the Dragonball trailer/teaser.  So, it’s up, for those who actually give a damn to see it, which I do not.
